Procurement workflow

One request, four operating stages.

The exact workflow depends on product, destination, value and risk, but the operating logic remains consistent.

  1. Define. Convert your requirement into a usable sourcing brief.
  2. Source. Identify potential suppliers and assess basic fit.
  3. Compare. Organize quotations, commercial terms and material differences.
  4. Execute. Coordinate the agreed procurement, quality, documentation and logistics milestones.
Sourcing scope

From engineered parts to private-label consumer products.

India's export mix is broad. LERVIC assesses sourcing requests across legally permissible categories, subject to supplier capability, regulatory requirements and destination-market rules.

Engineering & industrial

Components, fabrication, machinery parts, tools and industrial supplies.

Textiles & private label

Garments, fabrics, home textiles and custom production.

Consumer & home

Furniture, homeware, décor, packaging and retail-ready products.

Food & agri

Eligible food, spices, processed products and agricultural requirements.

Trade intelligence

Official resources are part of the research process.

For product classification and policy context, India provides mature public trade infrastructure. DGFT states that an Importer-Exporter Code is a key business identification number required for exports or imports, subject to specified exceptions. The Indian Trade Portal provides ITC-HS, tariff, policy-condition and trade-resource tools, while Trade Connect provides market and exporter resources.

Transparent launch pricing

Clear entry point before larger transaction fees.

The current model uses a small sourcing activation fee, a fixed managed-service fee for qualifying mid-size orders and transaction-based pricing for larger orders.

Submit the requirement first.

Share product, quantity, destination, estimated order value and specifications. LERVIC reviews the request before sourcing is activated.
